Dear Parents/Guardians,

Years of research show the children do best when their families are actively involved in their education; playing a variety of roles both at home and in the school.  When schools and families work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school and like school more.   As a school, it is our goal to have each student reach their personal best level of academic and social achievement.   We can’t do it without you.

You already know what a remarkable educational opportunity ISL provides; no other school in the state has a mission dedicated not only to academic achievement, but to celebrating diversity and promoting community responsibility.  With the ISL-PTO we will be ensuring that our parent-teacher organization represents our school and our community members in accordance with this mission and in partnership for our children.
